This week marks one of America's favorite holidays: Thanksgiving! First celebrated by the American pilgrims around the 17th century, it has quintessentially become the most celebrated tradition in the country that evokes images of stuffed turkey, pumpkin pies, and family homecoming. For those of you that celebrates, be it a classic thanksgiving celebration, or a fun #friendsgiving with your kindred spirits, we hope that the moment can be the time to express gratitude, connect with your loved ones, and appreciate the little things. And don't forget, if you're still on the look on where to spend your thanksgiving holiday, don't skip our list of Thanksgiving events and deals in Jakarta this week for ideas. Speaking of giving thanks, from Bali, we applaud Padma Hotel's very cool initiative of collaborating with our favorite local skincare brand, Sensatia Bali to reduce single use plastic waste. Read more about it here. When it comes to air travels in Indonesia, not all flights are the same, quite obviously. A lot can go into consideration. We give you some ideas on which domestic flights to book for your island getaway this coming year end holiday. In Bandung, warm up to Christmas by catching the celestial sounds of the Bandung Philharmonic in 'Flames of Joy' conducted by Maestro Robert Nordling and featuring guest soloists Anna Migalos, Kim Ji Ho, and Noel Azcona who will perform Christmas and orchestral classics. Find us on Facebook and Instagram for more updates on deals, events, and recommendations in the Jakarta, Bali, and Bandung by finding us in our social media! Have a good rest of your week!
