The Indonesian government is offering a lower income tax rate of 19 percent to Indonesia's listed companies, with a further 3 percent cut starting in 2022, the Jakarta Globe reports. The discount, regulated in the Government Regulation (PP) 30/2020 that was passed earlier this month, would allow some listed companies to pay a corporate income tax rate that is going to be one of the lowest in Southeast Asia. This move is part of Indonesia's tax reforms that will help fund COVID-19 relief efforts.
