But just like anything else for the last few months, it seems we have to put our urge to gather and be merry on the back burner. Although it doesn't mean we can't put the fun back in the independence day celebration. Despite the social restrictions, maybe it's time to make this year's 17 Agustus a time to appreciate what the country has to offer. These beautiful islands are ready to welcome and enchant you when you're ready to get on your saddle to roam again. Did you know that Indonesia has over 300 ethic groups spread all across the country? But of all the wealth of culture that they represent, we found that these rituals and traditions are to be the most unique and fascinating. But Indonesia is not just about its exotic traits, with its urban hot spots growing into a melting pot of popular and sub-culture; skaters would know these skateparks in Jakarta, Bali, and Bandung by heart but you had never even realized that such places exist, then it's time to catch some skaters and rollers in action (from afar, possibly). In Bandung, some hotels are reopening their breakfast buffet for its customers. This is a great opportunity for you to check out how a 'new normal' buffet would be like. And, to catch yourself a break from having breakfast at home. As a way for people to stay healthy and arguably, sane, at the same time, it seems that cycling has been picking up in popularity as I've never seen before.
