To welcome his return, thousands of his supporters flocked to Soekarno-Hatta Airport, many by foot, and much more recklessly parking their vehicles along the toll road. Countless flights were ruined, and even Garuda Indonesia offered free rescheduling and refund for all flights that morning.
Speaking of travel plans, Indonesian airlines including Garuda Indonesia, Sriwijaya Air, and Citilink have been giving discounts to boost travels following the Transportation Ministry's stimulus package that was announced last year. The stimulus includes service charge exemption at 13 airports across Indonesia until the rest of 2020, as well as other subsidies. Ready to plan some trips?
